    • NYPAC 2013 Archery Orientation

    Venue: NYP Stadium (Meeting place is the area at with the STAR labeled on it in the picture)
    Attire: Sports attire
    Time: 9 AM to 12 PM

    Hello! We will be going to hold our Orientation this coming Saturday, 27th April. Those that have registered for our orientation, do come down if you are free. If you have friends who are interested but have not registered, do inform them of our NYP archery email address (nyparchery@gmail.com) or our Facebook and we will address to their interest.

    Please bring along your water bottle as it is important to keep yourself hydrated, and sunblock (optional)

    Sports attire: Track Pants or PE shorts. No jeans, Bermudas, and "go-out pants". Covered shoes. If you have sports shoes do wear it. Strictly no slippers. Dry fit T-shirts are preferred as the weather may be very hot.

    Please abide by the attire stated as it is for safety measures.

    NYPAC archers will be continuing with their usual training up till 4PM. Do feel free to stay after the orientation.

    NYPAC 2012 Archery Orientation

    NYPAC welcomes any NYP students to come join us on our NYPAC 2012 Archery Orientation.

    EDITED:We will all assemble at NYP STADIUM (For simplicity)
    The stadium is marked as the star in the picture below. Please take note.


    Remember to bring enough water to hydrate yourself.

    Date: 12 MAY 2012
    Venue: NYP Stadium (Meeting place is pointed by the STAR in the picture)
    Attire: Sports Attire
    Time: 9AM - 12 PM


    Sport Attire means: No going out pants, be it jeans etc, track pants is okay with us. If you have sport shoes, please do wear it. Strictly no slippers please. T-shirt is best to wear dry fit shirt if you have one as the weather might be very hot on that day.

    Remember covered shoes are very important.

    Anyone who want to stay afterwards is up to you. As NYPAC Archers will still be staying till 4PM for training.

    Hi Archers,

    For those who are keen to support our archers who are participating for Pol-ite.
    Please be reminded that all supporting parties must be in proper sport attire and covered shoes.
    The venue would be at at Republic Polytechnic Sports Complex. Fyi, the competition will starts at 8am and ends in the late afternoon

    You can either choose to go to the venue yourselves or you can meet us @ Woodlands Mrt Station at 6.50am. If you are meeting us, it is your responsbility to reach early. We will leave for RP sport complex sharp at 7.00am. In any case of late or lost please call Alvin @ 91880589

    All archers,

    Please take note that the POL-ITE 2011 is held at Republic Polytechnic during this Saturday & Sunday, at the Sports Complex. None competing archers are welcome to support the competition.

    For Novice & Open category archers who do not know how to get to the location, please meet at Woodlands Interchange MRT Control Station at 7AM (please be responsible to reach at least 5-10mins earlier).

    For Standard & Intermediate category archers, please be at RP Sports Complex latest by 12pm.




    If you have any doubts or any clarifications, please contact the seniors ASAP.


    After training so much for the competition, give it your best & leave the competition ground with no regrets!

    Club Outing on 10th July Sunday

    Hi archers and especially juniors,

    Juniors! We are going to watch Transformer 3 on this coming Sunday 10th July.
    We really hope that all year 1s can join us for this movie outing!

    Venue : Either Dhoby Ghaut area / Ang Mo Kio Hub
    Time : Should be in the afternoon
    **Time and venue will be comfirm at later date.

    Basic Equipments required

    Hi juniors,

    For all those who have ordered your equipments and are getting your them soon. This is what you need in the near future.

    Firstly, with regards to scoring, I will need all of you to bring a notebook and pen EVERY TRAINING (Especially those who are going for pol-ite)

    Secondly, A tool box is also required to do bow maintenance when required. Below are the necessary/basic items needed in your toolbox:


    Lastly, juniors are advise to get their own arrow pullers. The reason of getting arrow puller is to help you to pull up your arrow using lesser strength and preventing you from bending your own arrows.

    There will no training tommorow 25th June as the stadium, hockey pitch and the tennis practice wall are out of bound due to some ongoing competition run by NYP.
    As this is a late notification, hence please help spread this around especially to the Yr 1 juniors.

    For your information a basic Bow equippment set consist of:
    Riser
    Limbs
    Arrows with Fletches and nocks
    Arrow rest
    Bow String
    Stringer
    Plunger (optional for now, but you will need one in future.)
